Trenchless Innovations has been providing air duct & sewer repair services to solve problems for residential and commercial clients in Des Plaines, IL and the surrounding areas since 2002!

If you experience a sewer backup, the first thing you should do is not panic! A sewer backup means there is a clog (or something worse) causing the backup. Our best advice is to minimize use of the drains in your home, like flushing the toilet or running water. Then, call a professional to come out and rod your sewer. A sewer backup doesn’t necessarily mean you need a repair, so many times, rodding will eliminate the problem. If you still continue to experience sewer backups, there may be a break in your sewer line and a repair may be necessary. In those instances, our sewer lining process may be a good fit and a permanent solution to your ongoing sewer problems.

After an initial televising and drainage assessment, most air duct lining jobs are completed in 2-3 separate visits, with usually 7-10 days between applications to ensure the liner has completely dried and adhered to your ducts. If your ducts need our spin cast mortaring process done on them to prepare your ducts for lining, your duct repair process could that 3-4 days to complete. The best part about our lining process is that you’re only without your system during the times we are performing the work and you do not have to leave your home during or after our process is complete. You can turn your system on as soon as we leave each day and don’t have to worry about breathing in chemicals because our liner is environmentally-friendly and non-toxic!

You would know your ductwork is bad if you begin experiencing issues such as a large amount of sand floating throughout your home, you hear a swishing sound when you turn your system on or you notice reduced airflow throughout areas of your home. All of these are symptoms of a problem with your underground air ducts that warrant a call to us for more help.

Televised ducts under slab floor. Ducts are concrete with metal fittings that are rustead. Drain tile and ducts are at the same level. The pit is also too shallow. Suggest installing a deeper pit then spin cast and spray line the ducts with Duct Armor. Need to run downspout out further and in different directions.

Looked at basement of commercial office building where a 4" cast iron storm water l e is broken in one area with scale and deterioration of the rest of the pipe. Will propose to give a quote to building owner to excavate in one area and repair the collapsed area then install a liner from the open pipe to the sump pit where it drains to.
