Rockford, IL Sewer & Air Duct Repair

8-4-2026: Cleaned 8” pool drain line from open pipe in lower basement also from drain box in pool descaled about 70-75’ of 8” cast and vacuumed loose scale out of line in preparation for lining, prepped drain box in pool for epoxy coating. 8-6-2026 Lined 8" pool drain line from the open pipe in lower basement to the drain box in the pool approximately 75'. Applied a 3 mil thick layer of epoxy to the drain box.

7-28-2026: Cleaned 8” pool drain line from drain box in deep end of pool to basement open 8” pipe in preparation for lining, also prepped drain box for epoxy coating. 7-30-2026: lined 8” pool drain with epoxy resin from drain box in pool to open pipe in basement, and epoxy coated drain box.

6-2-2026: Cleaned and prepped 75’x6” cast pool drain line from x2 pool drains and also from open pipe in basement in preparation for lining. 6-4-2026: Lined 6” cast iron pool drain line from the box on the right side of the pool extending downstream approximately 65’ ending in open pipe in basement. Reinstated wye connection for second drain box that we will line on 6-5-2026. 6-5-2026 Lined 6” cast iron pool drain line from the box on the left side of the pool approximately 15’ downstream just past the wye connection from the drain box on the right side. Reinstated wye connection. Applied a 3 mil thick coat of epoxy to both drain boxes.

Descaled approximately 25’ of 8” cast iron pipe going through the basement wall downstream towards manhole in street. Hydro jetted loose scale out of the line. Installed an 8” sewer liner from open pipe in basement approximately 25’ downstream ending in 8” cast iron pipe. Applied epoxy around the open lined pipe going through basement wall.

1-26-26 cleaned all underground duct work. Rebuilt two registers with hydraulic cement. Cleaned the duct run from the master bathroom and cleared blockage. The air duct register in master bathroom is 2” and too small to install a patch from register and there is no access from plenum box to pull patch in from there. Told customer we would spray that line with duct armor but can’t guarantee that debris won’t enter air duct. 1/27/26 Applied first application of duct armor to all underground ductwork and furnace box. 2/3/26 Applied second application of duct armor to all underground ductwork and furnace box.

Televised sewer from inside clean out to septic tank. Line is shifted past 50% so lining is not an option.

Televised ducts under slab floor. Ducts are galvanized metal showing some slight signs of rust. Will provide proposal for spray lining. Televised sewer from outside clean out approximately 108 ft to city main. Slight roots at connection. Suggest periodic rodding.

Give quote to seal 20 air intake handlers.

5-13-25 Cleaned and descaled approximately 190’ of 6” cast iron sewer line and got measurements for sewer lining 5-15-25 Lined approximately 95’ of 6” cast sewer line upstream from man hole ending before wye connection. Lined approximately 95’ of 6” cast iron sewer line downstream from inside cleanout in hallway ending before wye connection. Reinstated bathroom connection and cleanout connection 5-16-25 Installed 6” wye connection liner to bridge the liners together.

Did a video inspection of sewer from septic tank 42’ upstream to elbow in basement where overhead sewer exits house, needs to have plumber install clean out on basement overhead stack to line from new pvc overhead clean out 42’ to septic tank. Sewer can be descaled from septic tank back to elbow in basement.
