Sewer Line & Air Duct Repair FAQs
If you experience a sewer backup, the first thing you should do is not panic! A sewer backup means there is a clog (or something worse) causing the backup. Our best advice is to minimize use of the drains in your home, like flushing the toilet or running water. Then, call a professional to come out and rod your sewer. A sewer backup doesn’t necessarily mean you need a repair, so many times, rodding will eliminate the problem. If you still continue to experience sewer backups, there may be a break in your sewer line and a repair may be necessary. In those instances, our sewer lining process may be a good fit and a permanent solution to your ongoing sewer problems.
After an initial televising and drainage assessment, most air duct lining jobs are completed in 2-3 separate visits, with usually 7-10 days between applications to ensure the liner has completely dried and adhered to your ducts. If your ducts need our spin cast mortaring process done on them to prepare your ducts for lining, your duct repair process could that 3-4 days to complete. The best part about our lining process is that you’re only without your system during the times we are performing the work and you do not have to leave your home during or after our process is complete. You can turn your system on as soon as we leave each day and don’t have to worry about breathing in chemicals because our liner is environmentally-friendly and non-toxic!
You would know your ductwork is bad if you begin experiencing issues such as a large amount of sand floating throughout your home, you hear a swishing sound when you turn your system on or you notice reduced airflow throughout areas of your home. All of these are symptoms of a problem with your underground air ducts that warrant a call to us for more help.

Descaled approximately 2’ of 4” cast iron pipe from the toilet collar and vacuumed out the loose scale. Applied a 3 mil thick layer of epoxy to 2’ of 4” cast iron pipe from the toilet collar.
Looked at cast pipe toilet collar to tee and will provide proposal for epoxy coating.
Tv’d floor drain from pit near air intake for air handlers due to sewer smell going into air handlers. Drain is not trapped and there is and offset at the main at 5ft downstream from drain.
Televised ducts under slab floor. Ducts are concrete with metal fittings that are rustead. Drain tile and ducts are at the same level. The pit is also too shallow. Suggest installing a deeper pit then spin cast and spray line the ducts with Duct Armor. Need to run downspout out further and in different directions.
Trenchless sewer line repair service call. Inserted a 6” patch liner through the existing inside clean-out in the basement extending approximately 10 feet downstream to just before the tee connection to the house main.
Televised ducts under slab floor. Ducts are clay tile with joints at every two feet. Suggest spin cast mortaring the ducts then spray lining ducts with Duct Armor duct lining material to assist with lowering radon levels.
Televised sewer from inside co in mens room then from mh in front of building. Sewer is 4” cast and has slight scale and debris on bottom. Line was jetted but from wrong direction. Suggest jetting from my back into building. Will also provide a quote for lining approximately 100ft from mh
We are applying the first application of our rubberized duct lining material to all of the underground asbestos transite air ducts. The air ducts will be completely encapsulated and the air in the home will be safe for the customer to breathe.
Televised ducts under slab floor. Ducts are concrete with metal fittings and connections. Provide quote to spray line ducts with Duct Armor duct lining material to help with Radon levels.
Looked at basement of commercial office building where a 4" cast iron storm water l e is broken in one area with scale and deterioration of the rest of the pipe. Will propose to give a quote to building owner to excavate in one area and repair the collapsed area then install a liner from the open pipe to the sump pit where it drains to.
Completed encapsulation of transite under ground ducts, with Duct Armor.
