La Grange, IL Sewer & Air Duct Repair

5-22-2026: Cleaned and measured sewer in preparation for lining from 8” pvc clean check access (5’4”deep) upstream 35’ ending in 4” cast just past offset in cast, also downstream 35’ to city main. 6-18-2026: lined sewer from 8” pvc clean check on front yard 35’ upstream ending in 4” cast x3 reinstates, also lined 35’ downstream ending near city main

Televised sewer from ouotside clean out approximately 45ft downstream to city main. Upstream has all been changed to PVC. Will provide a proposal for lining approximately 45ft downstream remote starting in the PVC before it transitions to clay then ending before the city main.

Televised sewer from combination clean out and check valve in front of house. Heavy roots in both directions. Will provide a quote for lining both upstream and downstream.

Televised sewer from 2 clean out inside and also from catch basin outside on left side of house. Heavy roots in the lines and a slight crack in the tee connecting to the main line in the front of the house. Will provide proposals for lining.

Televised sewer from inside clean out in basement approximately 100 ft to city main. Homeowner was backing up last weekend, but it appears that the city was surcharging and causing backup. Only very slight roots visible in clay at one or two joints. The cast does appear to have a crack in the upper portion of the pipe and would recommend either lining or spray epoxy coating.

Televised sewer from outside cleanout approximately 60ft to city main and back into house around 40ft. Sewer has been changed in the house going out and about 7ft downstream of the clean out then is clay up unto the tap at the city main where it changes back to pvc. There are heavy roots growing into many of the joints in the clay tile. Suggest periodic rodding or the installation of a liner to prevent the roots from growing into the pipe in the future.

Restored functionality to a damaged drain line beneath a finished basement floor through trenchless relining. Accessed the pipe runs via existing cleanouts, conducted video inspection, then utilized an air-inverted cure-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining system to create a new seamless pipe within the existing line.

Met inspector at site who when he found out we had lined the sewer asked why is he out here there was no digging and nothing for him to look at. A before and after video is all they should require.

In La Grange, IL, I performed a comprehensive camera inspection of the main sewer line, identifying multiple points of root intrusion and a section with significant corrosion. I recommended hydro-jetting to clear the roots and trenchless pipe lining to repair the corroded section. This proactive approach ensures efficient sewer function and prevents future issues like backups or structural damage.

After cleaning and descaling the sewer pipe, we installed a 4" liner through the existing overhead clean-out. It started just beyond the tee connection on the cast iron and extended approximately 28 feet downstream, stopping before the septic tank baffle outside the home.
