Performed trenchless sewer line repair by inserting a 6" cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liner through the existing outside 6" cast iron cleanout. Relined approximately 25 linear feet of cracked sewer lateral up to the city main connection. Utilized an epoxy resin saturated liner tube pulled through with a calibration hose. Inflated the liner against the host pipe with compressed air, curing the epoxy to create a new seamless pipe within a pipe. Grouted the liner at both ends for a watertight seal. Conducted post-installation video inspection to verify integrity.

Conducting a thorough inspection in Burr Ridge, IL, I utilized a video camera to assess the sewer system from an exterior clay cleanout located approximately 4 feet deep in the front yard near the sidewalk. The inspection extended 52 feet upstream to a catch basin in the back patio, revealing minor root intrusion in the 6-inch clay pipe and minor corrosion in the 4-inch cast iron. Downstream, 32 feet to the city main line, the system was clear.

I performed a televised sewer line inspection at a property in Burr Ridge, Illinois to evaluate the condition of the pipes for potential trenchless cured-in-place pipelining. After running the self-leveling camera system through the 4-inch cast iron waste line, I identified several areas of moderate corrosion and root intrusion over a 25-foot section. Based on the video inspection findings, I provided the homeowner with a quote for rehabilitating that 25-foot portion of the sewer lateral using an epoxy resin-saturated liner. Pipelining is a cost-effective "no-dig" solution for renewing deteriorated underground piping without the need for disruptive excavation.
