Drain line descaling service call. 1-9-2024: pulled toilet in hall bath upstairs descaled 4” cast, two joints had heavy lead build up along with corrosion/scale. Flushed line and reseated toilet.

Plumbing video camera inspection service visit. Televised sewer from pulled toilet down to overhead in basement. Toilet at top of stairs has scale at bottom of cast before the toilet in the master bedroom that is causing paper to hang up. Suggest descaling pipe from pulled toilet in hallway down to overhead in basement.

Video inspection of sewer line from and outside clean out showed that line has heavy root growth. Power rodded sewer to remove the roots. Suggest installing a liner in the sewer to create a seamless pipe inside the old pipe permanently blocking the roots from growing back in the future.
